The taskbar is one of the most important components of Windows operating system. This is one of the most active areas of the user interface.
In Windows 10, the taskbar may not respond. You may not be able to click on the icons in the taskbar, failing to hide the taskbar itself, or you may not be able to perform other tasks in the taskbar.

If the taskbar does not work correctly, you can try the following troubleshooting methods to work again.

Method 1: Restart Windows Explorer

Restarting the file Explorer is also restored to the taskbar. Therefore, it is a good idea to restart the file explorer when the taskbar is unresponsive or working. Let's see how the file explorer will restart.

Step 1: Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc keys to open taskbar.
Step 2: Click More Details button to see full version of the taskbar.
Step 3: Click to process tab, and look for windows explorer entry.
Step 4: Right Click and then restart.

if you cannot see the windows explorer entry, then open any folder or file to view the explorer entry.

Method 2: Reboot your PC once

Restarting the file explorer should resolve the issue. But if that does not happen, reboot your PC once close all running applications. Check that the taskbar is working now.
