Apple decided to start its new factory in India. Foxcon and Wistron confirmed that they are opening plants in India. This is a very good sign for the Indian economy. With the local production of the international product there is a chance for the emergence of a local supply chain. In the new plant starting in India, there will be mostly assembly of parts that come from mainly China. There is exception for tax for the parts that are imported for assembly in India. Also the labour charges in India is less than that in China. These things gives the sign that the price of apple products in India will be much lesser that before.
