Here are the much needed and noticeable changes in Android M.
1.The Volume Controls
This was the major drawback of 5.0 Lollipop. The silent mode returned from 4.4KitKat.The pull down volume controls are just awesome. We can separately controls the different volumes from the pull down menu.
2.App Permissions
This is going to be the most useful change in Android M.With the new app permissions, the user can now clearly know which permissions the particular app needed and also the user can respond to the permissions individually.
3.New RAM Manager
The RAM management in 5.0 Lollipop was not the best.It has major performance issues with most of the mid range devices. But this is all solved in Android M.Now each app get the required amount of the RAM.The over usage by the background apps are eliminated by the new and efficient responsive RAM management system.
The is the missing feature in stock android. But now the issue is solved. The stock Android itself supports fingerprint reading. This feature is going to change the user experience to a new level. Android pay based on the fingerprint scanner is going to swap the dominance of Apple Pay.
The new Doze feature in Android M reduces the power draining in idle mode.It uses different sensors to determine the orientation to make sure that phone is in idle mode and reduces the background tasks of apps. The new charging mechanism is also awesome. The quick charging improved a lot.
6.New Dark Theme
The dark theme, which was missing in the Lollipop just returned to Android M.It adds a little
more elegance to the new OS.
