As mobile phones become more and more large size, we have to long press the back button to switch back-office applications. Of course, the phone screen 5 inches or less, we should still cope single-handed operation. However, when the phone reaches 5-6 inches, so a single hand held will become no longer easy, especially when co-operating screen in your hands, it seems that the bottom of the navigation button design loses its significance.

As a platform for larger screen devices running Microsoft Win8 system already aware of this, and now has widespread support edge gestures, such as using gestures edge downward turn Notification Center or switch to return to the IE11 and so on. Of course, we now have in WP8.1 use gestures on the edge of the platform, such as Notification Center pull-down menu from the top of the screen, IE11 browser can slide back edge of the screen from left to right and so on.

But unfortunately, currently in WP8 platform yet support Win8 such as task switching gestures. However, as Microsoft will soon be in Win9 system for Win RT and WP integration of the two platforms, I believe that the task switching gesture will be introduced to the top of WP system, while perfectly adapted for the big screen in this feature WP phones users more convenient operation experience. We feel that this proposal does not fly?
