First of all you have to activate the developer options in
the device. For that just go the Settings>Developer options>and tap it to
activate.
Now you have to activate the USB Debugging option under the
developer options.
Download and install the Samsung Kies from the official
website of Samsung.
Switch of your tablet and press the volume down, menu, and
power button on your tablet. Now the device will go to the download mode.
Connect the USB cable to the device and connect it to the
computer.
Download Odin v_3.09 from this link.
Download the Kit Kat 4.4.2 firmware from this link.
Open the Odinv_3.09. The ID:COM port will turn blue. Click
the AP button only after the you see the Blue color on the ID:COM port.
Now select the .tar.md5 file that you will get after
extracting the Kit Kat firmware.
Confirm twice that only the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time
are checked.
Again confirm everything and click the Start button.
Your device will turn on after the flashing process and you
can confirm from the About Device option of your device that you have the 4.4.2
KitKat.
